Kara's Kritter Kare Hours

By appointment only! I work two days a week at the Zumbrota Vet Clinic and then I spend rest of the week at home working on my photography business. I have a flexible schedule and can work around almost anything!

Snobelle & Sabrina

Snobelle and Sabrina are my 2 favorite Samies! Sabrina is a diabetic and when her owners are gone I give her her insulin shots. She even still loves me even though I have to give her shots!

Koda, a playful German Shephard!

Koda is a big lap dog that loves his belly rubbed and to play with toys!

Smudge

Smudge loves to be in front of the camera! And watching t.v.!

Riley!

Here's Riley in his favorite place!

Pumpkin, Sparky and Rupert

Here are 3 of Kara's Kritter Kare Klients!

Why choose Kara's Kritter Kare?

At Kara's Kritter Kare your pet is treated like family! They are not kept in a kennel unless that is how they sleep at home! They are able to sleep with us and even sit on the furniture. I have been told that they may pick up bad habits at my house because there are very little rules and they have free rome of my house! Please feel free to let me know their bounderies so they don't pick up the bad habits.

A little bit about me!

My name is Kara, when I was in seventh grade I created this business, it was going the be Kara's Kute Kritter Kare, 24hr vet service and pet sitting. It's amazing how things change! College ended up costing too much so vet school was kind of out of the question. However, I started working for a vet, in the hope of becoming a vet tech but that changed when I started my own photography business. (another one of my dreams!) The more I worked at a vet clinic the more I realized that working up front gave me enough interaction with pets without being the bad guy. Through the years I have watch many of my friends pets and  some of the vet clinic's clients so my husband told me it was time to follow another one of my dreams and out came Kara's Kritters Kare! The funny part of all of this is when my husband first moved to Mazeppa, I was not able to have any pets until we moved to the farm. Well, five years later and still in Mazeppa, we have 3 cats and 2 dogs! We also fostered 2 cats (Max & Gracie) the summer of 2007 and 2 more (Tom & Jerry) in the winter of 2007.  Once you have had the love of a pet, you can never have too many:)
